Name Tags

I was asked to make name tags for the helpers at the AB (Arts Bus) Open House event in town. they are reusable.

just a few days before I was asked for this, a friend of mine asked me if I would use the vinyl bags that came with curtains she had bought, for any art project. I didn't think of anything at that time but here goes, just in perfect timing they showed up to be used !

each name tag slip has a little butterfly which is made of elephant poop paper.

Cork Dolls : Space Pals

it is the second version of cork doll house. (first one, look for cork: nature spirits on the tag roll on your right.)

Cork Dolls : Nature Spirits

this is the one of the things I have been working on for an Earth Day event for my friend where I will also be attending.

I have helped my friend to make recycled upcycled stuff for a recycle museum booth a few years ago, and I am adding more things this year to the collection samples to introduce the ideas what we can do with our resources that we call trash (more on thankEARTH.us) since the ones I made a few years ago are more like crafts ideas for little children, and I had to fill the space with the samples in a short amount of time. I am not professional for this so it is not like I can just come up with the ideas & be done quick. and this time, I could do a bit more for bigger kids.

Hanging Plants

using empty jars & what I have at home

some small rocks (or marbles if you have)
at the bottom of a jar

copper wire to make the hangs
beading wire for hanging

one is a rabbit like with pom pom nose
and the other one with TP roll flower
with old red t-shirt cut in scarf-like

for Halloween
pom pom with foam sheet and plastic bags
and fabric tie with pom poms as arms
